Meerut News: In order to give relief to the people from Jams the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister decided to shift two Major Bus stands in the city to get relief from the traffic congestion in the city. Commuters travelling from Delhi side already got relief after the cabinet has shifted the Bhainsali Bus stand out of the city. This bus stand was shifted near the RRTs station at Modipuram and Bhudbral. After linking the operation of buses with the RRTS, commuters are less likely to face the brunt of traffic. The passengers comfort will be given priority during the construction of the Bus stand. Special care will be given to the Professional Activities.
Over 1400 Buses ply from the Bhainsali Bus Stand
The idea to shift the Bhainsali Bus Stand was going on for long, but couldn’t be implemented. Everyday over 1400 buses run from this stand, due to which commuters face lot of issues while catching a bus or an auto since the area is packed with huge jams. Considering all these factors, the state government decided to shift the Bhainsali Bus Stand.
State Govt announces measures for Smooth Traffic Facility
It was also proposed that if the operation of buses will be linked to the RRTS by the Multi Modal Integration, then it will be easier for the commuters to get smooth traffic facility. The state Government did a survey and on the basis of that, these changes were made.
