Karnataka Assembly elections 2023: A list of prominent campaigners for the next Karnataka Assembly elections in 2023 was made public by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today (April 19). Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other key party figures were named on the list.

Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister of Karnataka, JP Nadda, BS Yediyurappa, and Nalin Kumar Kateel are a few of the other 40 prominent candidates who will support the BJP in the coming days. In the meantime, on Monday, the BJP unveiled its third list of ten candidates for the forthcoming assembly elections in 2023, which are set for May 10. Manjula Aravind Limbavali, the wife of BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali, has been put out by the party on its third list.

The party unveiled its initial list of 189 candidates
Voter tallies will be tallied on May 13. Seven existing MLAs, including Madal Virupakshappa, who was recently detained on corruption accusations, were denied tickets by the party when it previously unveiled its second list of 23 candidates for the Assembly elections on May 10. On Tuesday, the party unveiled its initial list of 189 candidates. One of the party’s senior leaders and former chief minister Jagadish Shettar, who left the party and joined Congress, was also denied the ticket.
