MP Weather Update: In Madhya Pradesh, the monsoon break could finish tonight after 11 days. There is a chance of rain in various state districts on Monday because the system is active from the Bay of Bengal. From September 5, most districts may get rain. Anuppur, Balaghat, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Damoh, Dindori, Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Niwari, Panna, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Seoni, Shahdol, Sidhi, Singrauli, Tikamgarh, and Umaria are districts in these divisions that have seen moderate to heavy rainfall.
Monsoon Prospects in Madhya Pradesh
Dr. Vedprakash Singh, a senior scientist at IMD Bhopal, predicted that the monsoon break would conclude on Monday. September 6–7 might see the emergence of a low pressure region. As a result, the eastern region of Madhya Pradesh may see moderate to heavy rainfall. In other regions of the state, the weather will continue to be unpredictable. Between September 18 and 19, this system is still functional. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the chief minister, arrived in Ujjain today to see Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. He asked Mahakal for abundant rain. He took part in the Maharudra ceremony. CM also carried out Mahakal’s Panchamrit pooja. Pt. Ghanshyam Sharma, a government priest, is overseeing the Maharudra rite. 1331 Rudra Paths will be performed by 66 Brahmins and the priests of the Mahakal temple. This will go on from now until 3 p.m. for six hours.
Madhya Pradesh’s Varied Rainfall Trends and Current Weather Conditions
On June 24, the monsoon had arrived in the state. The monsoon started off nicely, but in July and later August, it became less active. As a result, the state’s overall rainfall total has decreased by 18% since June 1. There are 27 districts that are red. Rainfall has decreased by 20% to 46% in this area. The state has experienced an average rainfall of 26.07 inches so far, when it should have received 31.81 inches. The state receives 37.36 inches of rain on average per year. In the eastern and western regions of the state, respectively, there has been a 15% and 21% decrease in rainfall. There will be sunny and shady weather in most parts of the state. It will be cloudy in Bhopal, while there may be light drizzle in Jabalpur. There is also a forecast of rain at isolated places in the eastern part. The effect of heat can remain in Gwalior, Indore.
