This has been announced by the Collector of Ujjain himself.

Devastation Strikes as Heavy Rains Cause Flooding

Heavy rains have caused the Shipra River to flood. Because of this, the river’s water level is constantly rising. The majority of the temples at Ramghat of the Shipra River have been flooded as a result of the rising water level, according to a report from the news agency ANI. While this is happening, water is still flowing around 2 feet below the large bridge on Badnagar Road. Rain has been falling continuously since last evening, raising the water level of the Shipra River and submerging all the temples in Ramghat. The administration also seems to be alert regarding this and holidays have been announced for all government and private schools.

Heavy Rainfall Forecast for Western Madhya Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has published a report. For today and tomorrow, the Meteorological Department expects heavy rain in western Madhya Pradesh. In this situation, there is suspicion that the Shipra River’s water level may rise more as a result of the growing sequence of showers, leading to water logging and more water on the ghat’s temples. Let us inform you that the Meteorological Department had issued an alert for this location yesterday as well.
