Noida News: Over 89 Housing Societies of Greater Noida have refused to use Multipoint Electronic connections. There are more than 100 Housing Societies in Noida. The authorities were planning to install Multipoint Power connections in these societies. Surprisingly out of these 100 Societies, 89 societies have refuse to install these connections in their societies. The NPCL is the main Power Supplier of Greater Noida. NPCL wants to install Multipower connections in all the societies of Greater Noida.to fulfill this purpose, the Department has also put up stalls inside the society to make people aware.
NPCL: We have installed 16 connections as of now
According to NPCL, they have put MultiPower connections in 16 societies as of now, and the construction work in the 17th society is underway. According to sources, around 89 Housing Societies have refuse to install the Multipoint Power connections in their societies. The reason for this refusal is that the cost of these connections have to bear by the members of the Resident Welfare Societies. This is the reason why they don’t want to install these connections.
‘ Society Members should look up to the benefits not the cost’
According to the NPCL officials, from every Housing society if 51 percent people will agree for the connections, then only they will install the connections. We are trying to explain them the benefits of these Multi Point Power connections, but they don’t understand.
