Noida News: Unable to meet the basic license formalities of building sports infrastructure, the Sports City Project is now being encroached by illegal activities like local vendors and other people occupying the space to carry their businesses. The Builder was allotted over 180 acres of land in the year 2010-2011 and given 7 years of time to finish the project. But the Builder was unable to fulfill the task within a given period of time. Under the Project 70% was given for the Sports Project and 30% was given for Residential use, but nothing was implemented by the builder.

Residents approached Noida Authority to register complain

Residents claim they tried approaching the Noida Authority to ensure the registration of flats and completion of the Sports city project, but nothing has been done so far. According to the residents, the illegal activities have been going on for years but so far no action has been taken by the authority.

Many Flat Owners waiting to get units registered

Over 15000 Flat owners in 15 projects are waiting to get their units registered instead of the sports city project that was once planned to provide the best sporting infrastructure with housing. However the Allahabad High Court has asked for a response from the Noida Authority on why it has decided to take action against builders who failed to build the sports city in time.
