Noida News: The Noida Authority has begun planning to eliminate 15 dark spots in the city that are generating traffic bottlenecks and road accidents. A business surveyed these locations and presented a report to the authorities. All of these dark spots were discovered in February 2023. The Noida Authority has received a list from the Traffic Police. The administration would spend five crore 35 lakh rupees to remove these blemishes. TPA Engineering Services Private Limited, a consultant firm, conducted their survey. Following it, the planning was completed. Officials stated that as soon as the tender is issued, work on removing these places will begin.
Survey Pinpoints Accident-Prone Areas in Growing Noida City
According to officials, Noida has grown as both a residential and industrial city. Many highways are jammed as a result of the strong pressure of automobiles in such a condition. Accidents and traffic delays are becoming more common in this environment. The consultancy firm conducted the survey of the affected crossing. These locations were selected based on accidents that occurred in the years 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Noida-Greater Noida Takes Action Against Reckless Driving with Camera-based Challaning
183 individuals have died in road accidents in Noida-Greater Noida since June of this year. High-speed or unsafe driving is the root cause of most accidents. Vehicles are being challaned via cameras in 79 locations to monitor individuals who violate traffic laws.
