Noida News: After a video of a man performing tricks on a car’s bonnet went popular on social media, the Gautam Budh Nagar police fined a car owner 37,500, according to the police. They stated that the incident happened in front of the Surajpur neighborhood’s Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate’s office.

In the widely shared video, a man is seen perched on the hood of a speeding white sedan with a Noida licence plate. Police think the video was made by the suspect’s buddies for social media use and may have been taken within the Surajpur police jurisdiction close to the District Magistrate’s office. Station House Officer (SHO) of Surajpur, Avdhesh P Singh, mentioned, “The police managed to trace the vehicle’s details, and an e-challan of ₹37,500 has been issued against the owner. An investigation is ongoing to locate the driver and the person involved.”
Traffic Police Launch Investigation into Viral Video of Reckless Car Stunt
Meanwhile, deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Traffic, Gautam Budh Nagar, Anil Kumar Yadav, said, “We have taken notice of the viral video in which a man was seen performing stunts by climbing onto a car’s bonnet. An investigation has been initiated, and legal action is being taken under the Motor Vehicle Act.” The Gautam Budh Nagar traffic police started identifying those who were stunt driving in August. These tricks are frequently carried out to produce videos for social media in an effort to increase followers and likes. The Integrated Security Traffic Management System (ISTMS) police issue an online challan after authenticating the footage when they learn about such offences via social media or other channels.
