Noida News: As Rains continue to lash several parts of the city, citizens face water-logging and traffic jams while reaching their destinations. Many Low Lying areas of Ghaziabad and Noida have been submerged sue to the heavy rains in the area. People living in the Low lying areas have been asked to move to safer places.
Commuters stuck in Jams for Hours due to Traffic Jams
Lots of Traffic Jams were reported in Ghaziabad, Noida, Sahibabad and Gautam Budha Nagar area due to the continuous downpour. The rains have led to the increase in the Hindon River Water level and is flowing above the danger mark. The NDRF Teams are distributing food and drinking water to the people living in the Low lying areas. Authorities have also requested them to move to safer places with their families. Meanwhile the IMD also issued Yellow Alert indicating the prediction of heavy rains in the city.
Sudden Showers bring down the Temperature
The sudden showers brought down the temperature in Delhi, NCR and adjacent areas. The IMD has warned of Traffic disruptions during the rains and advised people to keep themselves updated about the weather conditions while stepping out of the house.
