Noida News: There seems to be no end to the rise in cases of Cyber fraud in the city. This time the frauds have targeted 3 people including a girl and lured them of over 12 lakh rupees. The frauds cheated them in different ways. One of the victims receives a message on his phone about a part-time job, which says you can earn a handsome amount of money while sitting at home, after reading the message the victim texted the person and the accused asked to add him to a telegram group.
The victim was trapped on the Pretext of Job
After this, the victim was given a task to write good reviews and ratings about companies and they were told they would get a good profit if they wrote nice things. In the name of doing the task, they were asked to invest 11 lakh rupees. When the victim asked for the money back, the accused removed him from the telegram group. The victim then rushed to the police to register his complaint.
Many people are being Robbed everyday
Not only this, but every day multiple cases of cyber fraud are being registered in the city. A senior citizen was also robbed of over 98000 through some customer care executive. While in another case, a girl is robbed of 9000 rupees by an anonymous caller who pretended to be her father’s friend. He told her that he is calling her on her father’s behalf and he wanted her to send him some money. The girl reported to the Police about the incident.
