Noida launches Make-Over Campaign for the city, set to remove illegal vendors

Noida News: The Greater Noida Authority has launched a campaign to give a new look to the city. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority held a meet to discuss the plan to improve the basic infrastructure and the look of the city by making significant changes around the area. The team has also removed lots of unauthorized stalls in the city.

Authorities ask citizens to volunteer in the Cleaning Drive

The team will inspect and check all the illegal hoardings and activities around the area and take proper action against the offender. The senior officials have also asked the Cleaning Contractor to improve the sanitation condition within one month time. The officers have also announced for special awards for the sanitation workers who will perform their duties sincerely. The officers are also urging the residents and citizens to volunteer in the Cleanliness drive by using separate dustbins to throw trash.

Authorities plans to collect 250 tones of waste daily

The authority is also working on the waste management program with the help of a Centralized system. The 200 crore project plans to collect around 250 tones of waste daily from around 95 sectors and 115 villages across the city. Special Officers have been assigned to inspect the areas where illegal encroachments or hoardings or stalls are taking place. The authority is also imposing fine on the illegal vendors and stalls at the roads.
