Noida News: Eight stations that will be built between the Blue and Magenta Line interchanges from Sector-142 of the Metro’s Aqua Line have been decided upon. Delhi Metro Rail obtains this DPR Noida Metro Rail Corporation from the report train; it does not make it itself. This will be the Aqua Line’s extension route. The operation of a Metro on this route will make commuting from Noida-Delhi to Greater Noida more convenient.
Current Aqua Line Operations
Currently, the Aqua Line between Noida and Greno is operated by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). The Greater Noida Depot is reached by the Aqua Line, which departs from Sector-51. Those travelling from Delhi on the Blue Line or Magenta Line must alight at the Blue Line station in Sector-52. From here, one can take an e-rickshaw or on foot to the Sector-51 Aqua Line stop. From here, go to various locations in Noida and Greater Noida. The Aqua Line is currently being extended. With its creation, people in new sectors will have improved connectivity in addition to those in older areas. Let us inform you that the Mahamaya flyover to Greno is where this metro route would emerge from the service road of the motorway. Directly from the station, FOBs will be created for former sectors. The FOB will also be produced from the metro station for the sections on the other side after crossing the motorway. At least two FOBs will be present in a metro station.
Expanding Aqua Line Reach
Sector-142 of the Aqua Line will have a new metro line that will go to the Botanical Garden. Currently, Botanical Garden is home to stations on the Blue and Magenta Lines that connect Noida and Delhi. Now, a third station for the Aqua Line will be constructed nearby, and it will be connected to the old station by a track in Sector-142. For this, a route starting from the former bus sector along the service road has been set up along the Noida-Greno Motorway. The locations of 8 stations along this route have now been determined by DMRC. Additionally, DMRC formally provided NMRC with its data. Next week, the DPR will be delivered. This metro link will cost an estimated Rs 1,800 crore. In this, the centre will provide 20% and the state government will contribute 20%. In place of the state government, the Noida-Greater Noida Authority will contribute equally to half of the cost. One station will cost approximately Rs 20 crore to build.
