Noida News: On September 7, the Noida traffic police announced detours and parking plans for the event at Dalit Prerna Sthal slated for October 9. The ceremony to commemorate Dalit leader Kanshi Ram’s “Parinirvan Diwas” is expected to draw a sizable crowd, according to PTI.
Traffic Diversions for Smooth Travel
If there is traffic at the Dalit Prerna Sthal, cars travelling from Greater Noida to Noida through the Noida-Greater Noida Motorway will be diverted at the Mahamaya flyover towards Sector 37. Sector 37 traffic would be routed to Atta Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector 15 roundabout, and then on to their final destination.
Alternate Routes for Smooth Traffic Flow
Traffic would be channelled from the Film City flyover towards Sector 18 in the event of congestion near Gate #4 of the Dalit Prerna Sthal, and then towards Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector 15 roundabout or the elevated corridor close to Sector 18 to reach their destination. If there is congestion near the DND or Film City flyover, traffic will be diverted from the flyover near Sector 14A for those travelling from Noida to Greater Noida on the Noida-Greater Noida Motorway. The intended destination, Sector 37, will be reached by rerouting traffic to the Sector 15 roundabout, Rajnigandha Chowk, Atta Chowk, and farther.
Parking Arrangements for Dalit Prerna Sthal Event
Buses will be parked close to the DND toll plaza when they arrive for the Dalit Prerna Sthal programme. Light vehicles can park close to Dalit Prerna Sthal Gate Number 1 when they arrive from Pari Chowk, Sector 37, or Greater Noida West. The multilevel parking area at Film City is available for use by light vehicles travelling from Delhi for the programme. The underground parking garage at the Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95 is available for parking light cars travelling via the Kalindi Kunj route.
