Noida News: Hindon river turns dark again; Pollution Board to examine and ascertain the cause

Noida News:After Yamuna River, it is now the Hindon river in the city which is slowly dying due to the toxic waste coming from factories, negligence and many other reasons. The dying river needs immediate attention or it will be too late to save the river. Lots of people living near by have noticed the colour of the river turned black due to the chemical waste which being collected in the river from the factories. Many people have noticed dead fish also flowing in the river. All these are signs of worry and needs immediate attention of an NGO

Many volunteers have shared pictures of the dead fish floating in the river, also polythene bags, filth and other waste being dumped in the river by the locals have made the condition of the river worse from what it was earlier. Few people have alerted some NGOs about the plight of the river and asked them to come and have a look. Some residents said if no step has been taken to revive the river on time, then it won’t survive.

Meanwhile the administration has asked the people living near by areas to be on stand bye as the water level of the river might rise due to the heavy rains in Uttarakhand.
