Noida News: The Noida police have discovered a horrifying incident in which four young people killed a friend following a party fight and buried his body in a field. This discovery was made while looking for a missing college student.
Disappearance of Yash Mittal
Yash Mittal, a businessman’s son and a student at a university in Noida, hasn’t been seen in his dorm since Monday. When his father Deepak Mittal began receiving ransom notes demanding ₹ 6 crore in exchange for his son’s release, he notified the police.
Police observed Yash leave the institution on Monday while conversing on the phone after looking through CCTV footage of the campus. His phone’s call logs directed them to his pal Rachit. When police questioned him, they discovered that Yash frequently hung out with Shubham, Rachit, Shivam, and Sushant.
The Fateful Night of February 26
“On February 26, they called Yash to a field in Gajraula in Uttar Pradesh‘s Amroha (about 100 km away) for a party. He joined them soon after. During the party, a brawl broke out. They killed Yash and buried the body in the field. We recovered the body after Rachit identified the location,” senior police officer Saad Miya Khan said.
The other accused was located by police in Dadri. After an encounter, the accused attempted to flee but were apprehended by the authorities. “We have arrested three accused after combing the area. One more accused, Shubham, is on the run. We will catch him soon,” the officer added.
Misleading Ransom Messages
According to the officer, the accused had informed authorities that Yash’s family was being misled by the ransom messages. He claimed that many teams of police had been formed to work on the investigation. Images from the scene showed the child’s parents sobbing after his body was removed. Prior to his untimely demise, the young man, according to the authorities, was enrolled in the Noida university’s Bachelor of Business Administration programme.
