The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is contemplating the development of a new residential sector near the upcoming Jewar airport, driven by robust buyer interest. A proposal to acquire 1,100 hectares of land for this purpose is in the works and will be submitted to the district administration shortly.
YEIDA Explores Development of Sector 5 Near Jewar Airport
With strong buyer enthusiasm, YEIDA is gearing up to establish a new residential sector, potentially named Sector 5, in proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport. The land acquisition process for the proposed 1,100 hectares is set to commence, targeting completion by December 2023 or January 2024.
Blend of Residential Plots and Group Housing Societies
YEIDA’s proposal outlines a strategic allocation of 50% of the acquired land for a scheme featuring 2,000 residential plots in the anticipated Sector 5. The launch of this new sector is projected for January-February 2024, with the remaining land designated for the development of group housing societies. The proposal aligns with the authority’s successful residential plots scheme in 2023, leveraging the proximity to the new airport and the Yamuna Expressway connecting Greater Noida with Agra.
