Nuh Violence: 15 Seers, 11 VHP Members and 40 Devotees Permitted to Worship at Nalhar’s Shiv Mandir

Nuh Violence: 15 seers and representatives of Hindu organisations were permitted to perform prayers at the Shiv temple in the Nalhar region of the district by the Nuh administration. According to Nuh Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata, the aforementioned individuals would perform ‘jalabhishek’ at the temple. Swami Parmanand and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dharm Dev were among the group permitted to enter the shrine. After VHP leaders and their followers arrived at the temple for Jalabhishek, forty individuals were permitted to worship in the Nalhar Mahadev Temple in Nuh.

Divine Ritual Amidst Enhanced Security

The Haryana Police authorised an 11-person VHP team to perform ‘Jal Abhishek’ at the Nalhar Shiv Mandir in Nuh. Due to the Shobha Yatra’s invitation from the Vishva Hindu Parishad, security has been stepped up in Haryana’s Nuh and the neighbouring districts.

Officials Assure Peaceful Conduct Amidst Precautions

Haryana Mamata Singh, ADG, Law & Order said, “The situation is normal in the area. Force deployment has been done in the area to maintain a peaceful environment…The Internet services have been suspended in the area…We will remove all restrictions once everything is normal in the area.” Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said “everything is under control” in Nuh where a Shobha Yatra was organised by the Vishva Hindu Parishad. “We have deployed a sufficient police force. And people performed ‘Jalabhishek’ there as per their customs,” added Vij.
