Nuh Violence: In light of the Nuh violence, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar stated on Sunday that the Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra slated for Monday has been denied permission by the appropriate authorities. He asked people to go to temples in its place. He claimed that the administration made the choice as a preventative measure to keep the state’s law and order. The skirmishes, which started on July 31 in Nuh over an attempt to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) parade and expanded to Gurugram and other locations, claimed the lives of six people, including two home guards and a cleric. According to the Chief Minister, the recent events in Nuh prevented authorization for the yatra due to the state of the law and order. Vinod Bansal, the leader of the VHP, insisted that the yatra would leave tomorrow at 11 am despite the Chief Minister’s directive. “Jal Abhishek Yatra will be taken out at 11 am tomorrow. Since it is a pilgrimage, there is no need to take permission for this,” said VHP leader Vinod Bansal, even as the Haryana administration denied permission to hold the procession in Nuh tomorrow.

A Shobha Yatra has once more been announced by Hindu organisations for Nuh in Haryana. This procession was scheduled to start on August 28, but the administration has steadfastly refused to start it. The entire administration has been on high alert ever since. At the same time, we are adamant that this Shobha Yatra will not, under any circumstances, take place. It has been instructed that none of the district’s gazetted officers leave their posts. In addition, duty magistrates have been placed in various locations. Dhirendra Khadgata, the Deputy Commissioner of Nuh, has stated unequivocally that the region’s calm and tranquilly shall be protected at all costs.

The news of the march has caused Nuh’s internet services to be suspended. The entire district’s internet services will be down on August 29 till 12 a.m. Additionally, Dhirendra Khadgata has said that Section 144 will be put into effect in the district. Banks and schools will continue to be open for the time being, but in order to preserve peace and order, the administration is strictly enforcing its regulations throughout the entire region.

On the Nuh Shobha Yatra, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait made a significant speech. According to Tikait, the opposition is creating a dictator. Muslims have been referred to as Indian Hindus. Along with this, a caution has also been issued on the Shobha Yatra, stating that if it goes ahead, a tractor rally and panchayat will be formed. On July 31, the last day of the month, Hindu organisations conducted a Shobha Yatra in Haryana’s Mewat-Nuh. On the yatra, there was stone-pelting at the time.
