Death Threat to Pappu Yadav Shakes Bihar Politics
Pappu Yadav, known for his vocal criticism of criminal elements, received a spine-chilling message allegedly linked to Lawrence Bishnoi’s network. Reports reveal that a WhatsApp video was sent to Yadav, containing an ominous text message: “Your future,” alongside the sound of an explosion. The video also featured an image of Yadav with his son, Sarthak, adding a deeply personal and sinister touch to the threat.
The accompanying audio message warned, “You’ll get a big surprise before December 24,” and accused Yadav of ignoring calls from Lawrence Bishnoi. It went on to compare him to the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, stating, “You’ll meet the same fate as Sidhu Moosewala. Your death is near. Apologise to Lawrence Bhai if you want to survive.” The threatening number was traced to Pakistan, pointing towards the gang’s international reach.
Anmol Bishnoi’s Arrest: A Major Blow to the Gang?
While Pappu Yadav faces new threats, the arrest of Anmol Bishnoi in US marks a turning point in the fight against the Bishnoi gang. Anmol, wanted in multiple high-profile cases, including the murder of Sidhu Moosewala and firing incidents targeting Bollywood star Salman Khan, has been a fugitive for years. His criminal record spans 18 cases, two of which are under investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Indian government had even announced a ₹10 lakh reward for information leading to his capture.
Anmol’s arrest follows extensive international cooperation. After a non-bailable warrant was issued in India, he was tracked across various countries before being detained in the U.S. Authorities are now urging swift extradition to India to face justice.
