Patna News: A revised schedule for the highly anticipated teacher recruitment exam—which was postponed last month—has been made public by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). For applicants who have been anxiously awaiting this significant exam, this notification offers a surge of updates and comfort.
New Exam Schedule
As per the notice from the BPSC office in Patna, the teacher recruitment exam is now scheduled to take place from July 19 to July 22, 2024. Here’s the detailed schedule:
- July 19, 20, 21: One shift per day
- July 22: Two shifts
Background
At first, the BPSC had posted job openings for an astounding 87,774 teaching vacancies throughout Bihar. A noteworthy total of 581,305 applicants submitted applications for these roles. Three phases of the test were scheduled to take place, with the third phase scheduled for March 15, 2024. Nevertheless, on March 20, 2024, the BPSC called off the recruitment exam due to claims of paper leaks during the test.
Current Status
The BPSC has now issued a new schedule, addressing the previous concerns. Candidates who had applied for the earlier exam are eligible to appear for this rescheduled exam.
