Patna News: City records 11 cases of Dengue; precautions you must take

Patna News: Over 11 cases of Dengue have been reported in the city from July till the month of August. The majority of the cases are being reported from the Urban Areas. Some of the infected patients have Travel History. However this year the number of Positive cases are less as compared to last year. Experts have advised citizens to take extra precautions as the disease might spread anytime. According to the Health Officials, the cases are mostly reported from IndraPuri, High Court Colony, Boring Road and Exhibition Road.

Experts Advise all to take Necessary Precautions

According to Physicians, People must take precautions of all types even if the situation is not serious. The cases may rise in the Monsoon Season, as the chances of Mosquito Breeding increases during rainy Season. The Municipal Commissioner of the city said that they are taking all precautions to control the spread of Mosquitoes in the city. The authorities have deployed teams to spray Mosquito Repellants. They have been asked to check Mosquito Breeding in the Houses also to use sprays to kill Mosquitoes.

Residents advised not to keep Stagnant Water inside the Houses

The administration has also ensured Fogging should be done in every area. The administration has divided the 72 wards into five sectors. Residents are also advised not to keep stagnant water in coolers or in any other areas inside the house.
