Patna News: The city will get its First Multi Modal Transit Hub in the next two months. The Multi Media Hub is a Mobility Service infrastructure through which people can switch seamlessly between car and different modes of transport . The Transit Hub will be developed near the General Post Office. People will be able to receive different modes of transportation under one roof. The Multi Modal Trust will have all the facilities like buses, autos, auto rickshaws and cabs. With the Transit Hub, people will be able to avail all the facilities under one roof from booking Taxis to autos to book a cab, one can have all under one roof.
Hub will have Electronic Ticketing Facility
Apart from this, it will also be connected to the Under ground Metro station that is likely to be built near Patna Junction. There is also a plan to build a bridge which will connect Multi Level car parking and activity center at the Station Road. G+2 Building will be built over a budget of 68 crores and it will be used as a Transit Point for the city service buses. 2nd floor will be reserved for Private vehicles. The hub will also have electronic ticketing system.
There will be Charging Points, ATMs, Cafeteria also
Hub will have all the state of art facilities like charging points, ATMs, Cafeteria, drinking water, Rest Rooms, lift facility for the elderly and ramp for the sick people.
