Patna News: Bihar Government plans to built Marine Drive in the Patna city from Digha to Gandhi Maidan. This will be a seven kilometer stretch and it will be called Patna Marine Drive. According to sources, over one lakh tress will be planted to beautify the entire area. The whole plan with the layout has been presented at the Chief Ministers Residence in the presence of the Chief Secretary and other Ministers. The site will have dedicated Jogging Track, walking path, separate area for the Chhath Festivities etc. 90% of areas will be surrounded with Greenery and the rest 10% will be for the other facilities.
People can enjoy different activities in the Parks
The JP Ganga Path will be stretched forward to Bhojpur. This enlarged area will be linked with the other Road bridges of the city. With so much greenery around the area, this place will look like a verdurous belt. People can come here for walk, jogging, cycling and can even perform other activities during festivals like Chhath Puja.
‘Bihar will also have a Marine Drive now’
The Bihar Chief Minister Nitish kumar said that now Patna will also have its own Marine Drive. Earlier people living in Mumbai, Chennai used to share their experiences of being to the Marine Drive in their cities, now we also have one and the people can have all the enjoyment and fun here.
