Patna News: The Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science will soon have the Heart Transplant facility in the Hospital. The Hospital Staff has written a letter to the Central Government to request for the facility. The IGIMS Spokesperson said that all those patients who need to undergo Liver and Heart Transplant will be given financial aide by the Government during their treatment. The Patients who need funds to support their treatment and do not have enough funds have written letter to the Central Government to help them financially. The doctors and the patients are hoping that government will soon initiate funds for this purpose.
Most of the Preparations for the Transplant done by the staff
The Hospital staff has already started the preparations for the Transplant Service in the Hospital. The Hospital is already provided with two Heart and Lung Equipments. Now they only need other machines which will also be available soon. As soon as all the machines and the necessary Equipments are in place, the hospital will start the Heart Transplant.
Patients can get their Surgeries done in Most Reasonable Prices
The IGIMS spokesperson said that the patients who need to undergo Heart Transplant will be able to get their treatment done here on affordable rates. If they go to have their surgeries outside, they will cost them 20-25 lakh rupees, but here the expense will not be more than 5 lakh rupees
