Patna News: IMD issues heavy rail alert for Patna including 18 districts of Bihar. The Monsoon will be completely active after 22nd August. There is a possibility of thunder showers and Rain-lightening in the area. The Kishanganj has been the hottest city during all these days of the Monsoon month. The cities which will receive heavy rain will be Patna, Gaya, Bhojpuri, Nawada, Nalanda, East and West Champaran, Jehanabad, Shekhpura and Lakhisarai.  The Monsoon will again get active in  the city of Bihar after 22nd August. The Met Department has predicted for rains in the city today as well.

IMD: There is 45% less Rainfall this year

People had been struggling with severe humidity in the entire North India. According to the Met Department, this year there has been 45% less rainfall recorded as compared to the rest of the seasons. People have been facing extreme humid weather due to this factor only. The districts in Bihar have been witnessing severe weather changes since the last few weeks. The North east and North west parts of Bihar is witnessing heavy rains, where as the Central and the South east part is almost dry.

Govt is working on the Irrigation and Flood Protection Fronts

The Water Resources Minister of Bihar said that our government is working hard on the irrigation and Flood Protection fronts. He also said that despite of the huge water flow coming from Nepal, we managed to handle the situation.
