Patna News: In order to provide more relief to the commuters, the Nodal Agency for the Patna Project announced to build subway facility for commuters near the busiest areas of the city, the underground metro station on Fraser Road. The Akashwani Metro station has been built to provide easy movement to the commuters of the near by areas like Frazer Road, SP Verma Road, Exhibition Road, Gandhi Maidan, Patna Junction, Station Road and Maurya Lok Complex. This under ground metro station will also benefit commuters of the Frazer road from one side to the other with the help of the Metro Subway. The entry and exit doors of the station will be inter connected.
Closest Metro Station to Akashvani Metro is Gandhi Maidan, Patna Junction
The Akashvani metro station is 235 km long and it is one of the 12 stations under Corridor-2 of the Patna Metro. The closest station to this station is Gandhi Maidan and Patna Junction. This metro station will be built on two levels, Mid level from the Ground (-1) and (-2) below the platform.
Entrance will have Ticket Counters, Rest Rooms
The entrance of the Metro station will have all the facilities for commuters from ticket vending machine to toilets and security checks. It will also have 4 lifts, 4 stair cases and 5 escalators. Special Arrangements have been made for the passengers to exit in case of any emergency.
