PM Modi: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to officially open and lay the cornerstone for a number of projects in the city of Gandhinagar during his visit to the Gujarat state. According to a formal announcement made on Thursday, the sanctioned value of these projects is roughly Rs 4,400 crore, according to news agency ANI.
PM Modi will visit waste management facilities in Gandhinagar
‘The Prime Minister will take part in Gandhinagar’s Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan at around 10:30 am. He will then launch and lay the cornerstone for many projects totaling about Rs. 4400 crores in Gandhinagar at noon,’ according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office. Also on the agenda for Prime Minister Modi’s visit is the “Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT city)”. He will check on the progress of different ongoing initiatives at GIFT City during his visit. Additionally, GIFT IFSC entities will be contacted to learn more about their past experiences and future plans for GIFT City. The Automated Waste Collection Segregation Plant and Underground Utility Tunnel will also be visited by the Prime Minister, according to an official statement.

PM Modi to distribute keys to PMAY recipients
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) initiative’s recipients will receive their keys from Prime Minister Modi during the occasion. “The Prime Minister will also participate in Gruh Pravesh of around 19,000 residences built under the programme, as well as inaugurate and lay the cornerstone for PMAY (rural and urban) projects. The recipients of the programme will receive keys from him during the presentation. The statement stated that the approximate total cost of these projects was Rs. 1950 crores. A number of development projects are about to get underway, including the development of multi-village water supply programmes in the Banaskantha district, a flyover over a river in Ahmedabad, a waste management infrastructure at Naroda GIDC, sanitization facilities in Mehsana and Ahmedabad, and the construction of an auditorium in Dahegam. A number of projects will officially start with the laying of their foundation stones, according to an official announcement. These projects cover a wide range of activities, including the construction of bulk pipelines in the Junagadh district, the improvement of water supply initiatives in the Gandhinagar district, the building of flyover bridges, the establishment of a new water distribution station, and the development of town planning roads, among other initiatives.
