Poonch Encounter: Four Terrorists were gunned down by Security Forces in Jammu Kashmir’s Poonch. The Security Forces launched a Joint operation where four AK-47 Rifles and two pistols and other ammunitions were recovered from the spot. The Security Forces received information of some possible activity by the Terrorists from their Intelligence sources and an encounter broke around 11.30 pm last night. The Forces also deployed drones and other security equipments to keep a vigil on the terrorists activity.
Security Forces cordoned off the area, search operations underway
The Gun battle again started in the morning with a heavy exchange of fire between Security Forces and Terrorists. The terrorists were kept in an isolated place with additional security forces to keep an eye on their movement. The Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police Force and the Indian Army Special Forces also took part in the Joint Operation. Security Forces cordoned off the area after the gun fire was over.
