PSEB exams: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann congratulated the toppers of the 10+2 exam the results of which were declared by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Wednesday. He said that the state government will felicitate these bright students with a cash award of Rs 51, 000 soon.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said that it was a matter of great pride and satisfaction that girls had once again outnumbered the boys by securing top positions in the exam. He especially congratulated girl students for topping the exams. “It’s ‘daughters’ era’ as girl students are making all proud by their rare achievement,” he said.
Mansa district tops
The CM said he was very happy to learn that Mansa district had secured first position across the state in the result of these exams.
Bhagwant Mann congratulated these meritorious students who have cleared this exam and extended best wishes to them for their future.
The Chief Minister said it was a historic day for the state as these students had proved their talent by excelling in these exams. He said these students had really worked hard to succeed in exams. Their hard work, perseverance and dedication had made them shine in the exams.
Historic day for Punjab
Mann said that this is really a historic day for everyone in the state. He congratulated the parents and teachers and said they too deserved accolades.
The Chief Minister said that these students will become role models for other students and inspire them to excel in studies by pursuing higher education. The state government is committed to providing the best environment of school education for the students, especially girls, so that they can succeed in their lives, he added.
The chief minister hoped that the cash prizes will encourage the students and they will be able to excel in competitive exams.
