Punjab News: Goods Train Collision at Sirhind! 2 Loco Pilots Injured, No Fatalities Reported

Early on Sunday morning, two loco pilots were hurt in a collision involving freight trains at the Sirhind railway station. No casualties have been reported, and the injured have been admitted to the hospital.

Punjab News: According to a Government Railway Police officer, two loco pilots were hurt early on Sunday, June 2, when a stalled freight train at the Sirhind railway station was rear-ended by another train. Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital has admitted both of the loco pilots.

The enormous collision and the derailment of the trains are visible in the footage that ANI released on its official X, formerly Twitter, handle. “Around 3:45 am, we received information that an accident took place. We have reached the spot. Two loco pilots have been injured and they have been admitted to Civil Hospital, Fatehgarh Sahib. No casualties have been reported, ” Ratan Lal, Government Railway Police (GRP), Sirhind Police Station, said.

No Fatalities Reported

There was no death, the official said news agency PTI. Himanshu Kumar and Vikas Kumar have been recognized as the injured loco pilots. According to a doctor at Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital, “Vikas Kumar suffered injuries to his head and Himanshu Kumar to his back,” as reported by PTI. The doctor reported that the injured were sent to Patiala‘s Rajindra Hospital.
