Punjab News: The narcotics Control Bureau of Chandigarh city has organized the ‘Nashe se Azadi campaign’ by organizing Bike Rally from the Sukhna lake in association with the Chandigarh Police under the theme ‘ Freedom from Drugs’ campaign. The Bike Rally will begin from the Sukhna Lake to the NCB’s office in Chandigarh. The main Chief Guest of the event was Chandigarh’s mayor along with other Ministers of the state.
Aim of the Rally is to spread awareness about Drugs
The officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau were also present at the event. The purpose of the rally to spread awareness among the Youth and the General Public to create awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and how it can ruin your life.
Millions have been affected from Drugs in Punjab
The Punjab city has been reeling under the influence of Drugs for quite a long time and the Police along with the Narcotics Control Bureau has been arresting many people coming under the influence or selling them illegally in the state. The NCB has arrested around 2,124 people including 80 Foreign Nationals.
