AAP Leaders Launch ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ Scheme for Doorstep Citizen Services in Punjab

CM Bhagwant Mann

AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are set to launch the ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ scheme on December 10, aiming to bring citizen-centric services directly to people’s doorsteps. The initiative offers 43 services, including certificates for birth, marriage, death, income, residence, caste, pension, and more, eliminating the need for citizens to visit government offices. The scheme covers almost all government services except arms licenses, Aadhaar cards, and stamp paper. People can schedule appointments through the helpline number ‘1076,’ and specially trained staff will handle paperwork, fees, and document delivery at the scheduled time.

Revolutionizing Civic Services in Punjab

The launch event, taking place in Ludhiana, reflects the commitment of AAP leaders to transform civic service delivery in Punjab. The scheme’s implementation is expected to provide substantial relief to citizens who previously had to navigate government offices and endure lengthy queues. The initiative not only brings essential services to people’s doorsteps but also aims to eradicate middlemen, giving citizens greater convenience and efficiency in accessing government services.
