Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday handed over appointment letters to 219 clerks and 26 youths for recruitment. With this, the total number of youths who have got government jobs so far has gone up to 27,042.
On the occasion of handing over the appointment letters, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that an empty mind is the abode of the devil. That’s why we are trying to provide jobs to maximum youth of the state. Unemployment is the root of many social problems. That’s why the attention of the Punjab government is focused on ending it. Now even within one year of assuming office, 27,042 government jobs have been given to the youth. This campaign will not stop, this campaign will continue in the coming days also. Because the maximum emphasis is being laid by the Punjab government on creating employment opportunities.
All the youths have been selected for these posts on the basis of merit
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has said that this municipal building has become a witness to such functions, from which the youth were given appointment letters for recruitment in different departments. This reflects the commitment of the Punjab government. That the state government is trying for the welfare of the youth, along with it it is trying to create new employment opportunities for the youth.
It has been said on behalf of the Chief Minister that it is a matter of great pride that all the youth are selected for these posts. It is selected on the basis of merit.
Youth should serve people with missionary zeal

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that now those youths should serve the people with missionary zeal. The youth who are newly recruited. These youths should use their pen to help the needy of the society.
