Bhagwant Mann Slams BJP for Targeting AAP Leaders, Vows to Continue Fight

Referring to the arrests of Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, and Manish Sisodia, Mann emphasized that despite these efforts, AAP’s ideology remains unshaken.

Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched a scathing attack on the BJP during a public gathering in Doda, Jammu & Kashmir, accusing the ruling party of imprisoning AAP leaders to suppress their voice. Referring to the arrests of Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, and Manish Sisodia, Mann emphasized that despite these efforts, AAP’s ideology remains unshaken.

“They (BJP) put Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, and Manish Sisodia in jail. Satyendar Jain is still in jail but they could not stop us. I have said this many times that you can lock up Arvind Kejriwal but not his idea and thought,” Mann declared, addressing the gathering in support of AAP candidate Mehraj Malik, who recently won the J&K Assembly seat from Doda.

AAP’s Resilience Despite Arrests

Mann highlighted AAP’s resilience, underscoring that despite the BJP’s alleged attempts to weaken the party by imprisoning its key leaders, the party’s mission for governance and development continues. The Punjab CM reiterated that AAP’s ideas for transparent and people-centric governance would persist, no matter the obstacles.

Growing Presence in Jammu & Kashmir

Bhagwant Mann’s address comes as AAP strengthens its presence in Jammu & Kashmir, following the victory of Mehraj Malik. The rally in Doda marks an important moment for the party, as it looks to expand its influence across the union territory.
