BSF shoots down Pakistan drone in Punjab

Pakistan is not deterring from its antics. Every day, Pakistan keeps doing some kind of inverted action. The BSF shot down a Pakistani drone at the Gurdaspur Indo-Pakistan International Border in Punjab. The incident has been reported at around 4.30 am. The drone was carrying a consignment from Pakistan to India. DIG BSF has reached the spot. Massive searches have started in the area. Senior BSF officer has given information.

The BSF personnel shot down a drone that entered India from the Pakistan side on the International Border in Punjab’s Gurdaspur sector at 4.35 am, the official said. A massive search operation has been launched in the entire area.

Infiltration attempt

According to the information received, a drone was seen coming from Pakistan side on the International Border at 4.35 am in Gurdaspur sector of Punjab. On seeing this, the BSF took immediate action and killed him. Drone tried to infiltrate in Ajnala area of Punjab sector. BSF 73 BN fired 3 light rounds and 17 rounds of bullets from different weapons.

After which the drone got stuck in the tree and fell. Senior officers of BSF Punjab are reaching the spot and taking stock of the situation.

Even before this, drones from Pakistan side infiltrated the Indian side 5 times in Dera Baba Nanak sector of Gurdasuper district. The drone entered Indian territory five times between 10.22 pm and 2.52 pm on Monday night. On hearing the sound of the drone, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel used Ilu bombs and fired 33 rounds after which the drone returned. During 5 infiltration in a single night, BSF jawans fired 33 rounds towards the sound of the drone and used 11 Illu bombs for illumination. After this the search was started in the entire area.
