Like every year, thousands of devotees will leave for Kashi from Jalandhar in Punjab. All the devotees will leave for Sri Guru Ravidas Dham in Varanasi by Begumpura Express special train. The train will leave from Jalandhar City station at 3.15 pm. Which will be given the green signal by the Chief Minister of the state, Bhagwant.
In such a situation, today the flood of faith at the city railway station is worth seeing. Apart from different parts of Jalandhar city, devotees from Dera Ballan are reaching the city railway station taking out a procession. For the devotees, people have also set up different types of langars at different places.
Two trains will go to Banaras from Jalandhar and Bathinda
Women and men who are full of faith leave for the darshan of their Guru, swinging to the tune of the band eagles. The flood of faith that flows in the city regarding the yatra is worth seeing. The situation at the city railway station is such that there is no place even for a mole strike. Railway officials told that four special trains are being run on the occasion of Shri Guru Ravidas Jayanti. Two trains will go to Banaras from Jalandhar and Bathinda in Punjab. At the same time, two trains will return to Jalandhar and Bathinda after taking back the devotees from there.
Here’s the routine
Today, special train number 04606 from Jalandhar will leave at 3.15 pm and reach Banaras via Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Alam Nagar, Lucknow stations the next day on February 3 at 1:10 pm. From there, train number 04605 will leave at 6:15 pm on February 6 and will reach Jalandhar the next day on February 7 at 1:35 pm via the above stations.
