Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s tweet has come to the fore after Insaaf Morcha opened the blocked National Highway in Behbal Kalan. He said that ‘I thank the Sangat that on my appeal the National Highway at Behbal Kalan’ was opened. Chief Minister Mann said that he was committed to bring the culprits of the Behbal and Kotkapura cases to justice.’

It is notable that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had made a special appeal to the Morcha to open the National Highway blocked by the Insaaf Morcha in Behbal Kalan. Chief Minister Mann tweeted on social media that the Punjab government is fully committed to provide justice in the Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan inhumanity cases. That’s why I appeal to Sangat to open the National Highway in Behbal Kalan so that people do not face any problemMann further said that it is the duty and responsibility of the government to punish the culprits at the earliest.
The ultimatum given to the government on February 5 by Insaf Morcha, running in Behbal Kalan, demanding justice in the sacrilege case, had ended. Due to which the Morcha intensified the struggle and closed the National Highway 54 Bathinda-Amritsar road from both the sides indefinitely. Today 5 days have passed since the National Highway was closed. Although the police is helping the passers-by so that no one is troubled, but still people are facing a lot of problems.
