After Diwali, the pollution in Noida and Greater Noida is increasing . The level of pollution is increasing continuously and now the level of pollution has reached a dangerous condition. On Tuesday, the air quality index of Greater Noida was recorded in the dark red zone 402, while on Wednesday it has increased to 406. Noida’s AQI has reached 398. While Greater Noida was ranked third in the number of most polluted cities in the country, Noida remained at the fifth place.
Pollution is increasing continuously in Delhi-Noida, the quality of air is deteriorating continuously. The AQI on Wednesday was like this-
The Air Quality Index (AQI) currently stands at 406 in ‘severe’ category in Noida (UP), 346 in ‘very poor’ category in Gurugram (Haryana) and 350 near Delhi airport at T3 in ‘very poor’ category. The overall AQI of Delhi is currently at 354 (Very Poor Category).
Schools and colleges may close if air pollution does not improve. Strict rules will be implemented under stage four of Grape. However, a decision on this will be taken in the meeting of the Air Quality Management Commission on Wednesday. Officials of all the cities and districts of NCR will attend this meeting.
On the other hand, due to pollution, the number of patients in OPD and emergency of hospitals has started increasing. There has been an increase of 10 to 15 percent patients in the OPDs of government and non-government hospitals. These patients have the highest number of asthma attacks, respiratory patients. The number of patients suffering from cold, cold, cough, tightness in throat, burning in eyes has increased.
