Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann released the calendar for the year 2023 at the Punjab Civil Secretariat on Monday. After this, the spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that the layout and outline of the calendar has been prepared by the Information and Public Relations Department and the printing of the calendar has been done by the Controller Printing and Stationery Punjab.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister A Venu Prasad, Principal Secretary Information and Public Relations Rahul Bhandari, Director Information and Public Relations Sonali Giri and other officers were present.

Along with this, an important meeting was also held with IAS-IPS Sahban at Civil Secretariat yesterday, in which first of all Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann congratulated for the new year and said that the public welfare schemes of the government should reach every Punjabi.
Need to ensure that the benefits of the policies of the government reach every entitled beneficiary
On this occasion, while congratulating the officers for the new year, the Chief Minister said that they should give top priority to public welfare works. He asked the officers to work with a dedicated spirit for the betterment of the people of the State so that the weaker and backward sections of the State get the true benefits of the policies and efforts of the Government. Bhagwant Mann said that there is a need to ensure that the benefits of the policies of the government reach every entitled beneficiary.
The spokesman said that accused in the case Telu Ram, former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, former minister’s personal P.A. Pankaj Kumar alias Meenu Malhotra, Krishan Lal Dhotiwala and Anil Jain (both jobbers) have already been arrested and are presently in judicial custody. Apart from this, the Vigilance Bureau has already presented supplementary challan against Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Telu Ram and Krishna Lal in the competent court of Ludhiana.
