There is important news regarding the weather of Punjab. In fact, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in many areas of the state today.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of lightning and strong winds with rain in the district Sardulgarh, Mansa, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, Gidderbaha, Rampura Phool, Jaito, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Bagha Purana, Faridkot.
Many villages submerged in water due to yesterday’s rain
An alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department across the state. Due to floods, 32 people died in the state while 3 people are missing. On the other hand, due to heavy rains last night, many villages of Dasuha sub-division of Hoshiarpur have come under the grip of water and people’s crops have been destroyed due to water. Apart from this, the rain water entered the houses of the people, due to which the belongings of the houses got submerged in the water. Due to this, people have been harmed on a large scale. There people were forced to leave their homes.
On the other hand, rain water also came in Krishna Colony Dasuha Gali No. 2 and a wall of a house collapsed in Gali No. 6. Apart from this, chickens of a poultry farm in Geo Chak village were washed away in the flood.
