Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann paid a visit to the residence of Havildar Jaspal Singh, who made the supreme sacrifice while serving the nation. In a solemn ceremony, CM Mann handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore to the martyr’s family, expressing gratitude for his dedication and sacrifice. Havildar Jaspal Singh served in the 9 Mahar regiment.

CM Mann, during the visit, emphasized that the sacrifice made by martyrs like Havildar Jaspal Singh goes beyond individual families or states; it becomes a legacy for the entire nation. He reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the grieving family during these challenging times.

SAD President Sukhbir Badal Files Defamation Suit Against CM Mann

In a separate development, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal has filed a defamation suit against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, seeking damages amounting to Rs 1 crore. The suit alleges that Mann made false statements accusing Badal and his family of diverting water from Punjab to their farm in Haryana.

AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal to Address Maha Badlav Sabha in Jind
