Punjab: Different parts of country are witnessing earthquake for last few days. On Monday, an earthquake of 4.1 magnitude hit Amritsar, Punjab. According to the National Centre of Seismology, 120 KM below the ground was the depth of the earthquake. The National Centre of Seismology took to their Twitter handle to share this information about the earthquake in Punjab. The department wrote, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 14-11-2022, 03:42:27 IST, Lat: 31.95 & Long: 73.38, Depth: 120 Km ,Location: 145km WNW of Amritsar, Punjab, India.”
Earlier, an earthquake of 5.1 magnitude Richter Scale hit Nepal and the tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR also. Not only that, the tremors were felt in different part of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand including cities, Pauri Garhwal, Bageshwar, New Tehri, Pithoragarh. The tremors were on the higher side, and it made people come out of their apartments to save themselves from the impact of earthquake.

However, this was the second earthquake that hit Nepal and no casualities were reported. On Wednesday, an earthquake of 6.3 hit Nepal and it caused the death of nearly six people.
