The list of 80 teachers who will be honoured by the government on Teachers’ Day tomorrow has been approved by the education minister, Harjot Singh Bains, on Monday.
54 teachers will get teacher State Awards, while 11 teachers will receive Young Teacher Awards, according the list that the minister approved. Five facilitators will receive special accolades, while ten additional teachers will receive administrative prizes.

On the occasion of National Teachers’ Day, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains congratulated all the educators chosen by the state government for the award and expressed the hope that those educators would serve as an inspiration to other educators.
State level event
On Teachers’ Day, according to Bains, the Punjab government will host a state-level event in Moga. The event’s chief guest will be Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the chief minister of Punjab.
According to the education minister, this time the jury at the state level and the district level committees selected the industrious and deserving candidates in an open and honest manner.
