Punjab NEET UG Round 2: The schedule for Punjab NEET UG second round counselling has been released by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). Through the official BFUHS website at bfuhs.ac.in, candidates who have successfully qualified for the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) can apply for the Punjab NEET UG counselling round 2.
Qualifications for Punjab NEET Undergraduate Round 2 Allotment
Candidates who enrolled but did not receive a seat assignment in round one are placed in group I.
For Group II, Candidates who were given a seat in round 1 but had it cancelled when they reported for admission after having their documents verified. Depending on the number of seats in the new category, these candidates will be given consideration for seat allocation in the following round.
Candidates who reported to the allocated institute during round one of allotment and checked the box for second-round upgrade eligibility will be eligible for group III.
Candidates who were given a seat but did not accept it are in Group IV.
Candidates that willingly left the assigned seat online inside the given window of time following the college’s first-round allocation.
Applicants who are eligible
Candidates who have lost their eligibility owing to having insufficient documentation in accordance with the eligibility requirements as stated in the Punjab government’s notification are not eligible to participate in counselling. Additionally, those who did not register in rounds 1 or 2 are also given a later deadline to participate.
Punjab NEET UG: Schedule for Round 2
1) Dates for registration and required deposits: August 9–August 12
2) August 9–12 is the final day to submit your willingness and security money for round 2 counselling.
3) Seats tentatively displayed as vacant for Round 2 of counselling: August 10.
4) Display of Punjab NEET UG Counselling Provisional Merit List: August 16
5) Candidates who indicate their intent to participate in round 2, including NRI candidates, must complete the online specialisation and college selection forms between August 17 and August 21, inclusive.
6) Seat allocation processing: August 22–August 23
7) Display of August 25 provisional allotment results
Candidates must register online and pay a fee of Rs. 5,900 in addition to submitting a security deposit. The fee is Rs 2,950 for SC candidates, inclusive of 18% GST, and this transaction should be made using the university payment portal.
Along with necessary documentation of their sports achievements, applicants seeking admission under the sports category should also submit a physical copy of their sports graduation certificate issued by the sports department.
