Punjab News: The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is acting decisively to protect the interests of the people living in the state. The Punjabi government has initiated a ‘Drug-Free Campaign’ with the goal of liberating the state from the shackles of substance misuse and ending drug addiction.
The Punjab government has granted the administration complete authority to take legal action against drug traffickers and prosecute them in order to guarantee the success of this operation. In compliance with this direction, the government launched ‘Mission Nishchay’ to increase public awareness and tighten the noose around drug traffickers, shielding Punjabi citizens from the dangers of drug addiction.
Increased Outreach of ‘Mission Nishchay’ in Punjab
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has ordered the Punjab Police to step up the promotion of “Mission Nishchay.” Administrative staff members are travelling to border villages as part of this mission in order to promote community involvement. Through this program, the administration hopes to raise community awareness and support for the battle against drug misuse.
The police in the Fazilka region have held open forums in a number of border villages to urge locals to abstain from drug use. They have also made a public call for assistance in establishing a drug-free society, emphasising the necessity of this group effort in order to free the state from the influence of drug usage.
Benefits for the People
The Punjab government and police claim that achieving a drug-free state will greatly benefit local residents. For example, curbing the trade of drugs and other narcotics will allow individuals to escape the cycle of addiction and utilize their resources more constructively. Moreover, a drug-free society is expected to contribute positively to the development of families and the state, thereby enhancing overall prospects for growth and progress.
