Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal joined forces on Thursday to campaign for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd during the road show, Bhagwant Mann expressed confidence in the signs of change in Madhya Pradesh. He drew parallels with the support seen in Punjab and Delhi during previous campaigns and predicted that the people of Madhya Pradesh would vote the BJP out of power, providing an opportunity for the honest politics of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Promise Honest Politics and Development

Mann emphasized that AAP’s promises are not mere slogans, unlike the BJP’s. He highlighted the achievements in Delhi and Punjab, assuring that similar progress would be made in Madhya Pradesh if the Aam Aadmi Party forms the government. Free electricity, mohalla clinics, and quality government schools were among the commitments he outlined.

Praising Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s governance, Mann pointed out the transformation of government schools in Delhi, where children from various backgrounds study together. In Punjab, the establishment of about 700 mohalla clinics within one and a half years has benefited over 60 lakh people, while the provision of 300 units of free electricity per month and the creation of over 37,000 government jobs were highlighted as achievements.

Mann criticized Prime Minister Modi and BJP leaders for their empty promises and ‘jumlebazi’ (rhetoric). He noted that in the nine and a half years of Modi’s rule, the government has failed to deliver on pledges such as the promised Rs 15 lakhs and 2 crore jobs, terming them as mere political gimmicks.
