Punjab News: Speaking to Sarkar Sanatkar Milni today, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that 14 additional police chowkis would be formed at strategic locations around the state in response to the ongoing demand of businessmen.
One chowki was announced by CM Mann for the Jalandhar Focal Point (Leather Complex), two for Hoshiarpur, one each for Bathinda, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala Focal Point, Doraha, Mohali, and Ludhiana. He was responding to the participating businessmen’ worries about the protection of their employees from looting on the roadways at strategic locations, especially at night.
Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, presided over the’milni’ and declared that the government’s top priority was the development of new projects and the corresponding infrastructure for power, fire substations, sewage treatment plants, roads, and streetlights.
The Delhi CM said that as part of the commitment he had made to them during the Assembly elections last year, they had gone to meet industrialists.

CM Mann said, “This is only to show you that we did not make any false promises. We will keep on coming to your doors regularly throughout our tenure to show what we have done till date and what we are doing to carry forward the commitments we made during elections.” He said, “The previous governments had never bothered to fulfil the promises they had made during elections once they occupied the chairs in the government”.
Kejriwal said, “In the previous governments, industrialists were looked down as looters of public wealth. They were in fact scared to be successful. We have come to fulfil your demands and facilitate your dreams”.
In the past one and a half months, the industry has submitted more than 1,500 ideas, which the CM and other authorities have studied. Workable requirements will shortly be fulfilled.
With Jalandhar-based industrialists like Sharad Aggarwal, Narinder Saggu, Gautam Kapoor, and Manish Arora, among others, both Chief Ministers had detailed interaction session.
