Punjab News: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convener of AAP, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are set to launch the ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ scheme on December 10. This initiative aims to bring 43 citizen-centric services, ranging from certificates to bill payments, directly to people’s doorsteps.
People can schedule their appointments by dialling the helpline number ‘1076’:
The scheme covers nearly all government services, except for arms licenses, Aadhaar cards, and stamp papers. To streamline the process, citizens can schedule appointments through the helpline ‘1076,’ ensuring a hassle-free experience. Specially trained personnel equipped with tablets will visit homes or offices, handling paperwork, collecting fees, and providing receipts.
“The scheme will also eradicate the role of middlemen,” Mann said. “Every year, lakhs of pilgrims visit this place during Shaheedi Sabha, so the state government is giving a complete facelift to this town,” he said.
Scheme promises to deliver both soft and hard copies of certificates:
The scheme promises to deliver both soft and hard copies of certificates, eliminating the need for people to visit government offices, stand in queues, or deal with intermediaries.
