Punjab News: As part of his government’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of its people, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is set to launch a new campaign on the occasion of ‘Senior Citizens International Day’ on October 3rd. This initiative, titled “Saade Buzurg Sadda Maan,” is aimed at recognizing and addressing the needs of the elderly population in the state and will commence in Faridkot.

Dr. Baljeet Kaur, the Minister for Social Security, Women, and Child Development, shared details of the campaign, emphasizing the government’s dedication to the well-being of senior citizens. She highlighted the prosperity and progress witnessed in Punjab, with the government actively focusing on education, healthcare, and technology development. The government is also actively generating employment opportunities for the youth and making advancements in various sectors.
