Prior to the inaugural ceremony, Governor Purohit visited the Chandigarh secretariat in Sector 9, engaging in a comprehensive meeting with officers and addressing official matters. The governor’s visit commenced at approximately 11 AM, with the attendance of secretary-level officers and senior police officials from the Chandigarh administration.

In a parallel and commendable initiative, the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh demonstrated its dedication to sustainable practices and cultural heritage preservation. Fifty boxes of ‘ARPAN’ products, meticulously crafted from floral waste, were dispatched to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This eco-friendly assortment includes incense sticks, dhoop batti, and candles, symbolizing the city’s profound commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
This dual effort by the CTU and Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh marks a significant stride in enhancing connectivity and promoting sustainable practices, contributing to the overall welfare and cultural richness of the region.
